You never know those who are new to GW 2 and GW in general may want to see how the whole story evolved.I still have a hunch of 2 more expansions and would they really leave Old Ascalon as Nuclear Wasteland.
I would say 2010 for GW2 as StarTrek Online was suppose to come out in 2007 it is now that and no Star Trek Online untill 2009.I still have some goals that I want to complete.I still see lots in presearig and that is still going strong.
I can see GW becoming single player game with editors and possibly being able to connect to a private server.

You won't see any big ticket items get added (particularly anything involving art resources), but they'll have a few maintenance developers working on the game for a long time, so if players come up with some cool ideas that don't take a lot of work to implement, and are mainly just code, then we might actually see them implemented. One example would be 12v12 AB where you have some control over your team (the reasons for their not doing it appear to be gameplay related than technical currently).

They need to fix the storm caller and blow it so some grass starts growing in Ascalon again. That place is so depressing. Or get some global warming going on :P

I have posted this before, but gw1 isn't going anywhere fast, and this is why: GUILD WARS 2 USES DIRECT X 10 RENDERING.

So lets look at this, dx10 is ONLY able to be run on vista with a dx10 video card. Because dx10 uses 64bit processors.
Not everyone has or wants vista or the money to get a computer that has both these hot little items. Xp is a world wide used operating system.

The common response is: but they will make a backward compatible version...
This is flawed thinking, why is there always some kid that tries to jam an atari 2600 cartridge into a playstation? or the more practical version: why would you play a game that your comp can't handle or the graphics look awful because you don't have the correct equipment?

Btw if you think this will be a cheap endeavor google up some vista and dx10 vid card prices(or just comps that have them). Also anyone that spends that kind of money to play a free mmo has a screw loose or a really rich mommy and daddy.(I plan to get a vista machine shortly before my company does so that will be in 2 years or more unless a large quantity of money falls in my lap)

See ya in gw1 till the turn the server off........

I hope they keep GW1 running in tandem with 2, I'm only just about to get Nightfall.

6 months without a job will do that to you plus the internet in my old house was crap so much so that I couldn't play for a year. Try playing online while you are sharing a wireless connection with 6 other people (wasn't leaching, there were 7 of us in one house).

The dev's have commented on making GW2 available to as many computers as possible. GW1 is already dual DX 8/9, no reason why GW2 will be dual 9/10. Considering gw2 engine is modifying the current one as a base.

i'd like some new battle isles starting areas; the current ones have been around since factions and are getting old. perhaps some gw:en-inspired ones.

Sounds Interesting I wonder if all the Guild Halls will move back to where they were before as well as RA and TA don't know about HB.I sure hope they do some restoration of Ascalon before then it is an eye sore.It would be nice to see the City of EbonHawk.
